  Welcome! Thanks for subscribing. Praise God! It's my hope that your Blessings Will overflow. First, let me introduce myself. My name is Terry Goss. It's been 24 years since my Lord's Holy Spirit awakened me, and opened my eyes to the fact that I was a lost sinner on the road to hell,  but didn't know it.


  Then He Blessed me with power to believe His word; and saved me from my sins. Now, it's a daily walk with Him, as I grow in wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Being slowly fashioned into one of His great kings.


  The birth of this ezine (electronic magazine/e-newsletter) "How God's Kings Are Made", grew to life from the many positive responses to "God's Great Love Poem"; and the work of the Holy Spirit. 


  The purpose of this ezine is to help you grow into a great king in heaven. I use the word "king" throughout, but it refers to both male and female.


  I use the words "God", "Jesus", "Lord", "Father", and "The Creator" interchangeably. 


  I use the word "kingling", to refer to us all as young new kings.


  I pray this ezine to be a helpful learning tool for you. Please send me your email comments, articles, poems and encouragement. Pray for me.

Feature Article#1: "Oh Kingling, Are You Forgetting About Your Dear Citizens?"

  Isn't salvation wonderful? A glorious rescue mission. When you're in a state of emergency, it can be hard to think about anything other than being "saved" from destruction.


  As new kinglings, we must pray for strength and wisdom to look beyond the salvation rescue mission.



That reminds me:

  I remember taking a cab ride home one late night. The cab driver was telling me about his worry of getting his daughter admitted into this special school.


  I told him to use his mind, not to focus and think "on" the problem, but to think "through" the problem. Think about what store to shop at for your daughter's clothes; having faith that she is already admitted.


  As kinglings, we must do the same thing. Having faith that we will make it to heaven - now what?



  It's only when we think "through" the salvation rescue mission, will we start to think about what we'll do when we get there.


  I can almost hear you saying, "but Terry, I just want to get in; just get me in. I'll think about the rest later".

That reminds me of another story; about two football teams.



  One, the league's leader, had all the star players and an award winning coach. They were expected to win the title. They were highly favored.


  The other team was last in the league; but they had great determination. They had an average coach. The coach worked hard on the team; motivating them constantly. He even came up with a rally cry; "we got to get to the super bowl". The players would shout this rally cry in practice, at time-outs, half-time, and after every game.


  They started winning and winning. They were focused and determined to get to the super bowl. They made it to the playoffs, and beat every team in their way. Finally, they made it to the super bowl. But they lost! The other team of superstars beat them soundly. 



  You see, one team was focused on just getting in, while the other team was focused on getting there AND winning!

  That's how we must look at heaven. Not just getting there, but to get there AND become great kings. When we do that, we no longer think only of ourselves and our salvation; but the dear citizens of our future kingdom will become the focus. 



  We start asking ourselves: "how can I best rule? Will this action today help me become a great king? How will this earthly trial strengthen my patience so my dear citizens can have a patient king ruling over them?"

"The Death Of Adam And Eve"
___________________________



I remember the death of Adam, 
and also the loss of Eve.
A horrible spiritual death, 
they were young and easily deceived.

Became separated from the Creator, 
a sad, sad day above.
How God's most precious creation, 
had severed themselves from his love.

I'll always remember what happened, 
a sorrowful historic day.
How God's most prized creation, 
became curious and did not obey.

Their death was quick and sure, 
deceived by the voice of another.
Put all their faith in him, 
instead of listening to their lover.

So they died a spiritual death; 
the Creator's Spirit withdrew.
A death so deep and ugly, 
that it spread to their children too.

And when they heard the Creator, 
they tried to run and hide.
Ashamed that all their children, 
would be born but dead inside.

Inside of all their children, 
would be darkness and a great void.
The Spirit of the Creator, 
would be missing and never enjoyed.

I'll always remember the lesson, 
the tragedy of being deceived.
The death of my father Adam, 
and the loss of my mother Eve.
